LAUNCH OF ENVAC

ENVAC is an integrated agriculture and nutrition value chains project which the World Food Programme (WFP) is  implementing with funding from the Canadian Government. Through this project, WFP is ground-testing an innovative market-based approach to tackling malnutrition in Ghana, especially stunting among children and micro-nutrient deficiencies among adolescent girls and women. This project will increase smallholder farmers’ access to markets by linking them with selected private sector agro-processing institutions which are being supported technically and financially, to produce specialized nutritious foods of international standards, to address malnutrition.

Premium Foods is one of the selected private sector agro-processing institutions in the implementation of ENVAC and we were delighted to host the launch at our factory premises Jachie-Pramso, on Wednesday, 24th May 2017 .

Support to Jachie Police

PFL considers personal and institutional safety key to development. It is in this light that the company donated two (2) Escort motorbikes to the Bosomtwe District Police Head Quarters at Kuntenase.

This District Police Headquarters has jurisdiction over Bosomtwe surrounding communities and through constant interaction with community members and businesses, has consistently maintained law and order in the district. The motorbikes will facilitate the movement of police personnel within the communities and also allow the police to respond readily to any emergencies that might arise.

Prince Andoh, the Procurement and Administrative Manager of PFL, made the presentation on behalf of the company to ASP Asiamah Amponsah on the 28th of April, 2016.
